Author Notes

My son Nathaniel is a creative cook (doesn't follow recipes). He likes to forage food from fields and the garden and then experiment. This tea is a lovely tisane. —luvcookbooks

Ingredients
  • 5 stems of fresh mint leaves
  • 5 stems of fresh lemon balm
  • 2 sage leaves
Directions
  1. Put the leaves in a small tea pot (two cups or so). Pour over boiling water and steep for 5-10 minutes. Add milk and honey or lemon if desired, but I love the fragrance and clean taste of the tea as it is.

My son Nathaniel prefers bourbon, but I'm a tea drinker. This one's for me.
