Chargrilled Artichokes Hummus [vegan]

Author Notes: A delicious twist on hummus with the addition of Kalamata olives. Great with pitta bread, breadstick etc..The Flexitarian

Serves: 8


  • 14 ounces can chickpeas
  • 10 ounces jar of chargrilled artichoke hearts in oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 20 Kalamata olives
In This Recipe


  1. Drain chickpeas.
  2. Drain artichokes reserving the oil.
  3. Put all the ingredients (plus 1 Tbsp of the reserved artichoke's oil) in a blender and whizz to a smooth paste.
  4. Season to taste
