Ingredients
  • 1/2 small green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small radicchio, shredded
  • 1 carrot, julienne
  • 1 each red, green and yellow peppers, julienne
  • 1 medium red onions, halved and thinly sliced
  • 2 scallions, sliced
  • 1 handful flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • generous pinch of sea salt and black pepper
Directions
  1. Mix all vegetable in a large bowl. For dressing mix all ingredients in a glass container. Add dressing to vegetables. Toss until salad is mixed.

The cole slaw recipe reads well (looking forward to eating it but haven't made it yet). But/and I love the bowl...for its design and for the visual pun. Old family heirloom or currently available at retail?

Bowl is from set of four, treasure found at garage sale ten years ago , lady's ex-daughter in law is artist.

I have the same bowl (with a set of smaller bowls for individual servings) with a slightly different glaze. My mother-in-law took a ceramics class where you purchased the ceramic pieces and than did the glaze yourself. Your coleslaw looks fabulous.
