Sooji Ka Halwa (A Sweet Made from Semolina )

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Semolina
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Ghee (Clarified Butter)
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • Cashew Few
  • Raisins few
  • Food color one to two drop
Directions
  1. Roast Semolina until light brown.
  2. Boil the milk, add sugar, allow completely dissolve.
  3. Add roosted Semolina to the milk slowly, then add the ghee, cardamom powder and the food color Stir well for few minutes (until it resembles a thick porridge).
  4. Pour the Above porridge in a flat steel plate.
  5. Garnish with fried cashew and resins

I was able to buy sooji at my favorite Indian grocer today. I am so looking forward to making this!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe with us. ;o)
