Author Notes

Growing up my mom use to make this for lunch with mash potato and a fried egg.
This was one of my favourite meals.

What You'll Need
  • 1 pound frozen chopped spinach
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cloves of garlic, grated or minced
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  1. Defrost the spinach and drain well, (after drained I was left with 6 oz of spinach)
  2. Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and garlic, cook stirring for few minutes.
  3. Add spinach and milk season with salt and simmer for about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Serve with fish, chicken, pasta, roast or mash potatoes.
