i just made this up yum.. while baking corn bread ( recipe coming) (mild honey or turbinado sugar is best ) —chez lady S

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup hot boiling water
  • 2 inch piece of fresh ginger roughly chopped
  • 2-3 teaspoons honey or sugar ( to taste)
  • 1 juice of lemon
  • 1 shot bourbon
  • Dash fresh ground nutmeg ( optional)
Directions
  1. mix first 3 ingredients brew about 5 minutes
  2. remove ginger pieces by pouring through a strainer
  3. add bourbon , lemon juice of one lemon about to taste and sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg if you so desire put in favorite mug and enjoy

there addictive, its good i didn't get into these until now
they can obviously be drunk fall through the rainy spring but then it will be summer...oh yes iced tea!

bourbon and tea might just be about our favorite two beverages. Amy, I am sure will make this in about the next 5 minutes. I am going to guess the nutmeg really isn't optional.
