Oatmeal, Whole Wheat Flour And Raisins Scones

Ingredients
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cold butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 raisins
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare a plate covered with baking paper. In a large bowl, mix the flours, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt, add oatmeal. Add the butter (cubed) and knead with your hands.
  2. In another bowl, mix the egg and buttermilk and add to another preparation. Knead, if the dough is smooth, add the raisins.
  3. Form into balls and flatten them slightly. Cook for 25 minutes.

I am taking the 1/2 cold butter for 1/2 cup cold butter. Am I right?
