Wonderful (and versatile, with option of adding pearl onions or new potatoes). Love it.

This sounds delish! Any suggestions on what to serve this with?

Perfect with lamb. Probably really good with ham as well.
Consider adding pearl onions instead of shallots, or add boiled new potatoes, or both. I've tried the original recipe as well as these three varients; they're all wonderful.
And really quick and dirty minted peas: Cook fresh or frozen peas until ALMOST done. Throw in sauce pan and add about 1 T mint jelly for each C peas. I think it's delish and the fastest way to get a veg for lamb.

Hi Jen, I was thrilled when I saw the category and had a recipe ready to go. I've been on the sidelines for so long here, it's nice to finally be a participant!
