Slow Roast Tomatoes

What do you do with hard bite tomatoes that do not ripe? You roast them with salt/brown sugar/fresh or dry herbs/Oil and lots of love. Blend it=tomato sauce. Mix it with feta cheese and orzo=yummy summer salad. Either way, wear them in on chin for a happy ending! —Dominique Fry

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 6 hard not fully ripe roma tomatos
  • 1 tablespoon brown or raw sugar
  • 1 handful dry or fresh herbs
  • 1,2,3 splashes Olive Oil
  • 1 dash salt and pepper
Directions
  1. Wash tomatos and cut them in halves. Dress them with all the ingredients. Roast at 200 for 1 hour for slow roast OR 20 min at 360 for a more juicy result.
