Author Notes: It's one of our go to recipes in the summer, he eats his with Pasta, and I use quinoa. The heat from the pasta or quinoa warms the sauce, add cheese and it changes the whole taste! I keep it simple, but sometimes breaded (g free of course) can be added, and a good salad is always a plus. —Kmh82165
Makes 2 cups of sauce
- 15 basil leaves
- 6 green inions, more if you like, adjust to taste
- 5 or 6 garlic cloves, again adjust to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cups grape or cherry tomatoes
- everything goes in the food processor, process to your preferences, I like it a little chunky....I make the quinoa for me and hubby favorite pasta. put sauce over cooked pasta or quinoa add cheese if you want, and left over quinoa and this sauce it wonderful!!!!
