The Creamiest Instant Oatmeal

It requires yogurt, not cream! Choose a fruity yogurt, something you could imagine adding to oatmeal, as opposed to plain or vanilla. —AustinMiller

  • Cook time 2 minutes
  • Serves 1
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup instant oatmeal
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 5 ounces (1 serving) fruit yogurt
  • 1 dash brown sugar

Directions
  1. Combine oats with water in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Follow the heating instructions found on the oatmeal container (usually around a minute and a half in the microwave).
  3. Let your oatmeal cool for about 20 seconds. Add the single serving container of yogurt (5 to 6 oz.).
  4. Add water as needed to create a smooth consistency.
  5. Add cinnamon and brown sugar to taste, stir.
  6. Serve medium-warm.
