This Indian-inspired Masala Corn On The Cob will spice up any backyard barbeque! —WarriorInTheKitchen
Ingredients
-
6
corn on the cob, organic
-
butter (omit or use vegan butter if vegan)
-
lemon juice
-
salt to taste
-
paprika
-
red chili powder, adjust per spice level
Directions
-
Dehusk the corn
-
Cooking methods are to grill the corn on a barbeque or boil the corn in hot water (If your corn is organic, clean and free from pesticides, you can actually eat the corn on the cob raw. The taste is so creamy and buttery, but without the butter and cream!).
-
Once the corn is cooked, spread butter. (See note above for vegan option)
-
Rub some lemon juice on the corn.
-
Sprinkle salt, paprika and red chili powder. (Note: I did not include exact measurements of the spices. You basically want to sprinkle on as much as you like based on your personal preference. If you like it lemony, use more lemon. If you like it spicy, use more red chili powder.)
