A tangy and light slaw to go with your favorite BBQ sandwiches. We love it on pulled pork with a good potato roll.
For a little extra zip - replace a few tablespoons of the vinegar with red wine or champagne vinegar.
We use a food processor with the grating and slicing discs to prep the veggies, makes the prep time a snap. —okadots

head green cabbage

head red cabbage

large carrots, peeled and juliened

large white onion, grated and rinsed

1/2 cup
vegetable oil

3/4 cup
white vinegar

1 tablespoon
sugar

1 teaspoon
celery salt

1 teaspoon
Better than Bouillon vegetable base

red paper flakes to taste

Dash
Accent or Vegeta (optional)

salt & pepper to taste
Directions

Mix everything together really well in a large bowl

Cover for 15 min and leave on counter.
