Sticks & stones, but make them toasty 🍅 Summer is not just the season of some of the best berries, but also the juiciest tomatoes. Spice up a weekend brunch with these sriracha french toast sticks!

Ingredients

Bread of choice, sliced

large egg

1/3 cup
milk

Savoury french toast seasoning (see recipe for this)

3/4 teaspoon
butter
-
Cherry tomatoes (as many as you'd like)

1/4 teaspoon
fresh parsley, finely minced

Sriracha sauce
Directions

Heat butter in a large skillet. Cut the bread into 1-inch narrow sections.

Whisk together the egg, milk, and seasoning mix. Dip the bread till fully coated; shake off excess batter, and transfer to the skillet. Cook on medium-low heat till all the edges are browned and crisp.

Transfer cooked toast to a plate. With the heat still on, add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet, and sear for approximately 30 to 40 seconds. Top off the toast with the tomatoes, parsley, and sriracha sauce.
