Packed Brown Sugar, Softened

Applesauce

All-Purpose Flour

Baking Soda

Chopped Walnuts

Instant Coffee Granules
Directions

In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add applesauce, beating well after the addition. Beat in milk and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the walnuts.

Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
