Ingredients
-
1
Large Head of Cauliflower
-
3 tablespoons
Olive Oil
-
2 teaspoons
Paprika
-
1 teaspoon
Cumin
-
1 teaspoon
Garlic Powder
-
1/2 teaspoon
Onion Powder
-
2 teaspoons
BBQ Powder
-
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions
-
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
-
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, keeping the core intact. Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick "steaks." You should get about 2-3 steaks from one head of cauliflower.
-
Mix the olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl to create a seasoning mixture.
-
Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the seasoning mixture. Make sure the steaks are well coated.
-
Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and golden brown, flipping the steaks halfway through.
-
If you want additional crispiness, broil the cauliflower steaks for the last 2-3 minutes. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
-
Remove the cauliflower steaks from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
