Need a lift?

At long last: a step ladder we wouldn’t mind leaving out full-time. Every stunner you see here is designed in Japan and built from aluminum, then topped off with a powder-coated finish (no wonder it can support up to 225 pounds). Stability and practicality? It's got both so you can climb aboard with peace of mind. There's more perks to know about, too, like those non-skid feet that create a wide base, deep, treaded steps, and a safety latch, so you can step up safely and easily.

Pick a height, any height—it comes in a one-, two-, three-, or four-step design. It also happens to be here in several charming colors, too. And when you’re done climbing up and up? This one’s lightweight and folds flat, perfect for tucking away till next time.

and Easy-Breezy Returns

The maker of these wonders, Hasegawa, has been hand-assembling their stools and ladders since the 1960s (you might be familiar with their famed tripod ladders for gardening purposes), and things are definitely looking up now that we have their sturdy, portable, easy-to-store designs on hand. Those crystal glasses on the top shelf? You'll be using them a whole lot more thanks to these ladders.

Hasegawa is taking step ladders to new heights, thanks to their award-winning designs. They’ve been hand-assembling their stools and ladders since the 1960s, and every wonder they make is sturdy as can be (not to mention a treat to look at). They’re a snap to fold and store, too—perfect since we’ll be keeping ours close by.

Stool Is not Functional
The rungs are so narrow that I have to hold on to rails in closet to us. In my opinion very dangerous to use.

A piece of art!
I ordered this ladder because I needed something tall, yet lightweight, for my small house. The simplicity of it was also attractive! It is so attractive it could be left out as a blanket holder. And it is extremely well made...love it, worth the $$$.
