What can't these things do?

This are one of my favorite kitchen tools - simple, easy, and surprisingly versatile. In addition to lining cookie sheets, I've cut them down to fit brownie/cake pans, reducing the amount of parchment needed. I've even used them to roll sushi!

Good idea

This and the pastry mat are such good, well-executed ideas. Clean easily and prevent excessive waste. The blue color may seem a little odd at first but the contrast helps to clearly see the edges of the cookies as they bake.

Time saving treasure

This mat is wonderfully flexible and doesn't contain fiberglass. I love that you can trim to fit your pans without damaging the mat. I definitely recommend it, makes clean up a breeze.

I love these!

I bought one for me a few months ago and have enjoyed it. Easy to clean. No more parchment paper! Yay! Whatever I’m cooking comes off the Matt easily. Because I loved mine so much I bought a few for friends for Christmas. Thanks Food52

great but don't put into dishwasher

I needed a new baking mat as the dishwasher really messed mine up. It ended up with a hole and it absorbs the smell of the dishwasher pods which is then released during baking. So I recommend only washing by hand.

So glad I bought these for myself!

So much betther than my SilPat baking mats which always felt greasy no matter how they were washed and stored. I do wish these also came in a quarter sheet size - maybe 2 for the same price as one of the larger ones. I know I could cut this size down, but I'd really rather it was made to fit.

Great Baking Item

These mats are made with high quality silicone. So easy to use and great to use in place of parchment paper. Less wasteful. Easy to clean.

Q: What is the recommended loading position in the dishwasher? I cannot find a configuration that doesn't cause the mat to flop over onto itself, which prevents a thorough wash.

A: I find the easiest way to wash these is nestled in between two cooling racks, that way the water and detergent can get through, and the mat doesn't fold over on itself.
