Sear perfection.
There’s no shortage of talent with this classic Le Creuset skillet: It’s enameled cast iron, which means it distributes and retains heat like none other and cleans up with soap and water between sizzles (aka it requires absolutely zero seasoning). It develops a natural patina over time, too, so you can bet it’ll stay nice and slick. That black enamel interior is tough enough for your metal utensils, and it’ll happily resist stains, chipping, and cracking along the way. Did we mention it’s lighter in weight than any other cast-iron pan its size? Oh yes. We love this one for steak, skillet cookies, crispy-cheesy pizza, and roasted anything. It's even got a pour spout for drizzling gravies, sauces, and reductions, too. Kudos to the wide helper handle for making it a snap to move here and there.
Le Creuset’s 10.25-inch skillet is friends with all stovetops, induction included, and is oven-safe up to 500°F. Use it for pork chops, savory tarts, banana bread, stir-fry, dealer’s choice.

- Materials:
Enameled cast iron.
- Care:
Wash your enameled cast-iron cookware in hot, soapy water before its first use. For cleanup, hand washing is recommended. Avoid metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners—a soft sponge and a good soak are your best friends here. Always let your pan cool for a few minutes before washing.
Nylon, silicone, or wooden utensils are best for your pan. You can use metal utensils, but they may damage the enamel coating if they repeatedly scrape or knock against the coating. Do not use an electric mixer inside the pan, and do not cut food inside the pan with a knife (this can damage the enamel as well).
