a sophisticated Advent calendar for grownups

I bought mine a bit late so instead of catching up alone I shared the first weeks treats with my family on a trip. We were all surprised by the sophisticated flavors (rose water gummies!) and how gorgeous it is. With it's own carry bag. Would make an exceptional hospitality gift.

A delight

Very bright and festive. Easy to open overall and each day is also easy to open. Much larger than anticipated. A perfect addition to our Christmas decor.

Beautiful and delicious

Beautiful advent calendar, luxurious

This advent calendar feels like it could be a winner this year! The materials are luxurious, the feeling is sturdy and high quality. I am going to open the doors carefully and then use it again and again, refilling it myself next time.

Calendar is exactly as shown in your offer

but in reality, it feels too slick. I would not be tempted to buy it again. Perhaps I should surround it with living fresh boughs of greenery.

Candies are meh

Looks nice, but the light up function is pointless. There’s a “button” to press to light it up for 30 seconds, but it’s on the back and hard to find. It should just light up when you open it. The candies are disappointing.

5 stars for beauty, 1 star for the goodies

This is a beautiful advent that lights up when you push a button. It's stunning! Unfortunately, the goodies inside stink! My daughter doesn't even want to open it anymore- they are like old candies and don't feel Lady M like at all.

Outstanding packaging, the treats not so much

Most everyone who reviewed this item agrees that the packaging with the wreath and gold foil is lovely.
Frankly, I put it aside and I just opened it today. I also bought one for my adult son. I have an appreciation for diverse and creative flavors. My son will be sorely disappointed.

ady M's. I was anticipating different sweet fillings covered with chocolate. What I got appeared to be misshapen jellybeans with exotic, unidentifiable flavors, and only 12 assorted flavors, not 24 as expected.
I am exceedingly dissatisfied. I will think twice before trusting a Food52 recommendation again. Read Less

Beautiful and Not Tasty

I can appreciate the artistry of the flavors but I can’t say we enjoyed them. Was hoping for more variety of types of candies.

I’ll reuse the beautiful box next year though!
