Community Picks — Root Vegetable Side
Once again, we want to give a big thanks to all of our volunteer recipe testers for your thoughtful comments and for helping us continue to strengthen our recipe recommendations. You can read each tester's comments by clicking through to the Community Picks (that's right: new Food52, new name to reflect the community!) recipes — the comments are at the top. And even if the recipe you tested wasn't chosen as a CP, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!
Congratulations to another great batch of Community Picks!
A few timely notes: Unfortunately we are not yet displaying the Community Pick badge on each of these recipes (redesign, soft launch, soon!). Rest assured that it is turned on in the background and will soon magically appear. In addition, the tester's name is credited at the end of the review, but not in the "A&M's notes" designation for now. Also working on this -- thanks for your patience!

Thanks Kukharka for reviewing my potatoes! And F52 for the great photo! I had to pull each kid over to the screen individually to see "our" potatoes. They were pretty excited. This was fun!

VanessaS, thank you so much for testing my recipe, and for your nice review. So many wonderful recipes in this contest . . . all the EPs as well as many not selected for EP review (or shall I say "CP" testing, now that we're saying "Community Picks") look so tasty! ;o

If you put www.food52.com/blog into the address bar you can find it. I only lucked onto it via the hotline. I haven't been able to find a direct link to the blog posts. I assume it's on the list!

This is exhausting. When I can get a screen is more than blank, that is.

Congrats, all! Thanks to boulangere for testing my recipe and making a non-nut variation! I'll edit the recipe to add the oatmeal option.
