added 7 months agoIt depends on how big the bun is, the other toppings, and how generous you want to be with the pork. I think I'd be happy with 1/2 to 3/4 cup pulled pork. In ounces, it might also help to think of portions for burgers -- 1/2 pound (8-ounce) patties are generous without being overwhelming, for example. Hope this helps!

added 7 months agoSorry, forgot one detail -- 8-ounce burgers would be pre-cooking, so they'd shrink a bit from there.
I usually do 4 oz max per serving. 1 1/2 oz if on a slider bun.
6-8 ounces of protein is a typical restaurant portion.
