Buttercream Frosting too sweet what can I do to fix this

it was confectioners sugar I actually did add the cream cheese and it taste delicious now its not to sweetThanks a bunch!

What kind of buttercream, swiss meringue or butter and confectioners sugar? Swiss meringue would be hard to correct but the other type could be easier to tone down the sweetness. You could add some cream cheese for a cream cheese buttercream.
