How long will an open bottle of very nice sherry wine last in the refrigerator?

The Sherry people say not so, although I've kept and used fino Sherry in the cupboard indefinitely. They say it should be consumed within a few days, or it changes character considerably. Doesn't "spoil," because it's fortified, but doesn't taste the same.

Maybe we need to sponsor a taste test?

How long will it last, if it sits in the back of my pantry?

In the fridge - a very long time - you will use it up before it goes funky!
