11 After-School (or After-Work) Snacks

When you really think about it, the average meal times are sort of flawed. Lunch follows breakfast in a timely fashion (usually), but then dinner is often six hours away from lunch -- and those hours tend to drag on. It's important to keep yourself fed in between, or you risk making a terrible dinner decision in a hunger-induced haze.

However, all of this can be solved by the wonderful ritual of the after-school snack. Whether you're still in school or you haven't stepped foot in a classroom in years, an after-school or post-work snack can be the perfect pick-me-up to keep you cruising until dinnertime. Since it's back-to-school time, set yourself up with some good afternoon snacks -- your stomach and your dinner plans will thank you.
