How to Hard Cook Eggs in a Muffin Pan

Earlier this week, Ali Slagle taught us all how to hard cook lots of eggs at once. In an oven. With a wet tea towel.

If that set-up makes you nervous (though it needn't, as long as you make sure the entire tea towel is wet—we won't tell you how we know that...), inpatskitchen revealed an alternative method:

Last year I found an article that said to set your eggs in muffin tins and bake at 325° F for 30 minutes. Using tongs, transfer [the eggs] to a bowl of ice water. It worked perfectly for me!

I've been using this method for several months now, and I'll never go back to hard boiling or steaming again! Works like a champ.
