From Where We Stand: Our Weekend in Photos

November 23, 2015

A glimpse into our editors' lives: Here's how the world looks from where we stand (which, this week, is all over the place).

This past Saturday night, I stayed in to eat pizza with my boyfriend and cat. And then I sabered a bottle of Champagne to make it feel a little more like a celebration (which staying in to eat pizza absolutely is). —Leslie

I had a hard time resisting this jackfruit at the grocery store this weekend. I wanted to pick it up and cradle it like a large (slightly spiky) baby. —Lindsay-Jean

I walked out of yoga class to this on Sunday evening—a whole new understanding of the "post-yoga glow." —Caroline

Sunday night's sunset was GORGEOUS. My boyfriend and I were doing errands in Chelsea and we walked out of a store to see the beautiful sky. I think we stood there for at least 10 minutes taking it in. Truly mesmerizing.

Had to raise my game a bit this year, going away like that for the whole weekend.

(We're also taking a strenuous hike on Thanksgiving Day, getting me into the kitchen to start the day's cooking at 2, or later, that day.)

The others slept while I drove back, giving me plenty of time to fine tune my advance prep project plan, including final shopping and weekday dinner plans. ;o)
