What's one recipe you can't wait to cook this month? Why?

Babka because Christmas is the perfect excuse to make a recipe so involved.

Recently we learned how to make really good Southern buttermilk biscuits.

What is your ideal comfort food?

Dominique: Just about anything with noodles or pasta.

Phillip: Ice cream.

Music or no music while cooking?

Music!

What cookbooks do you take the most inspiration from? Why?

Jerusalem by Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi and Tacos by Alex Stupak and Jordana Rothman. Both cookbooks showcase different countries/cultures cooking and we really enjoy exploring other cultures through food.
