For the past week or so, a number of novice home cooks have been tweeting at Gordon Ramsay asking for his take on their dishes. More often than not, these creations are cosmetically unpleasant to a rather horrific degree, seemingly on purpose. He’s been quite saucy in response, quote-tweeting these souls who subject themselves to this activity. Burn the bread of your grilled cheese? Over-fry your fried chicken? Gordon will let you know!

I’ll point out that he’s been nice to around a grand total of two people whose creations meet his standards. But, for the most part, he’s been spellbindingly rude. I’ve been reading these tweets for the past few days and snorting at my desk. I've been wondering—fantasizing, I guess—about what he’d say if I were to tweet something at him.
So we did. Today, we just made a nice batch of Roberta's Parsley Cake in our Test Kitchen, and we tweeted a picture of it to Gordon. (Here's the recipe. It's good.)
What will he say? No idea. I'm excited to find out, and I'll update this post in the event that he responds. If you’ve got firsthand experience with tweeting at Gordon and receiving some sort of saucy response, let me know. We’d love to know what to expect.
