Every couple has their song. For my husband and me, it’s “Sigh No More” by Mumford & Sons—the romantic (but, yeah, rowdy) folk tune that we walked down the aisle to. But, does every couple have their playlist?
Ina and Jeffrey Garten do, of course.
“Just in time for Valentine’s Day—a playlist of some of the best romantic love songs of all time!” Ina posted on Instagram yesterday, and it’s already racked up more than 160,000 likes. The accompanying picture? A smiling Jeffrey holding a big beautiful bouquet of flowers (again, of course).
Titled “Ina’s Favorite Love Songs,” you can find the playlist on Apple Music and Spotify. It includes 58 songs, which adds up to about 3 hours of romance-is-in-the-air tunes. Expect lots of classics, like “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green, “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra, and “These Arms of Mine” by Otis Redding.
The only question is: What will Ina and Jeffrey be eating while listening to this A+ playlist? My money is on roast chicken and a fabulous wine picked up by Jeffrey—but the menu is still under wraps. And when it comes to your own Valentine’s Day menu, Ina says: You got this.
“Some great music, a glass of Champagne, and...what’s on the menu is up to you!” she wrote on her Instagram.
Luckily, we just published a Dear Test Kitchen episode all about the perfect date night menu. And here are some of our favorite Ina recipes:
