The inimitable Padma Lakshmi needs no introduction (but we'll give you one anyway): Food expert; bestselling author; executive producer and host of Top Chef; model; actress; public speaker and women's-health advocate—the list of impressive accomplishments goes on. So who better than Padma to deliver the final judgment of this year's Piglet Tournament of Cookbooks, making a decision between two heavy hitters, Season and Bottom of the Pot? It was such a tough call, Padma may still be "seriously upset with Amanda Hesser" about it.

We understand, Padma—and no hard feelings.

BUT! Before you make your way to the final judgment below (don't you dare scroll down), you'll need to catch up on what happened in the rounds leading up, right? Happy to help. Read on for some quick-and-dirty recaps of the whole shebang—your ever-controversial, always-entertaining 10-year-anniversary edition of the Piglet.
