32 Best Artificial Christmas Trees That Bring the Holiday Cheer

The branches are fake, but the joy is real.

For many who celebrate, the Christmas tree is the centerpiece of the holiday season. We’ve all got different ceremonies for lighting it, traditions for decorating it, and rituals for perfectly wrapped presents beneath its branches.

While plenty still cherish the wintry smell of real spruce, pine, or fir, others are taking the artificial route—which definitely eliminate the mess left by a real one. The debate about which is more sustainable is still up in the air, but if you invest in an artificial tree that you use year after year, you won’t be in the wrong. Plus, it’s a one-time expense, rather than an annual one.

We’re quite tempted by the idea of faux trees ourselves, which also lend themselves to more options than real ones, in our opinion. Here are the 32 best artificial Christmas trees for any home, any style, any budget.

At Prices You Can't Beat

1. Puleo International Fraser Fir Pencil, $138.72

Height: 7.5 feet
Lighting: Pre-lit with incandescent lights

For a premium artificial tree that doesn’t break the bank, consider this pre-lit fir that offers 7.5 feet of height for under $150. Its narrow silhouette means it’ll fit easily in even the tiniest of corners.

2. The Holiday Aisle Green Fir Artificial Christmas Tree, $92.99

Height: 7.5 feet
Lighting: Unlit

While the tree’s uniform green shade might be too vibrant to pass for an outdoor-bred variety (nothing that ornaments can’t disguise), it’s superior in shape, fullness, and—most importantly—price.

3. Prextex Spruce, $79.99

Height: 6 feet
Lighting: Unlit

Six feet for under $80? Yes, please. It goes without saying that this lightweight, 1,200-tip artificial tree is a mega-steal.

4. Best Choice Products Spruce Artificial Christmas Tree, $159.99

Height: 7.5 feet
Lighting: Unlit

The Christmas tree is lush and filled out, plus it’s extremely light to carry (no more lugging a tree from a farm) and simple to set up. While on the higher end of your budget, you won't beat this price for a 9-foot tree that grazes the ceiling.

5. Holiday Time Snow-Flocked Pine Artificial Christmas Tree, $30

Height: 6 feet
Lighting: Unlit

Half of the decorating is already done with this snowy-covered tree. Add a handful of ornaments and you’re all set for the season.

5. Balsam Hill BH Noble Fir Flip Tree, $2,699 $2,099

It’s certainly pricey, but if you’re looking for something that's hyperrealistic and super easy to set up, this is the tree for you. It's made of Balsam Hill’s highest-end branch technology called True Needle and employs its impressive flip system that stores the tree upside down (who remembers this fun trend?) on a rolling stand that allows for quick assembly.

We bought our first artificial tree ever last year - just couldn't find a good live tree by the time we were able to go out looking for them (people start decorating really early here!).

We got the white birch in the tallest size they have.

It's stunning. We put tiny vintage inspired ornaments on it plus a few small ornaments from our collection. The photos on the linked page simply do not do justice to this beauty. ;o)

Where can I find those gorgeous white decorative trees on the shelf in the beginning of the article?

tia December 2, 2019
They're in the shop! I've been coveting them for ages, but I have cats, so no lovely ceramic trees for me.

Please tell me this was posted as a result of a scheduling glitch. Otherwise why in the world are you posting about Christmas trees in the middle of August?!
