The Costco Sous Vide Egg Bites are made by the same company that created and produces the Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites! So you are literally getting the same product as you would at Starbucks but in fun different flavors and for cheaper. I found this out and have been all the more pumped about these since.

Meant to add—the company that makes them/the brand to look out for on the box is Cuisine Solutions.

Thank you for such a thoughtfully, wonderfully written article. I’m on my way to Costco this morning and was delighted to find it in my inbox!

At our local Greater Seattle Costco, I would add 1) seaweed snacks either in little sheets or the one that is like a chip with nori & rice. 2) dried mango strips 3) dried & crunchy shiitake mushrooms 4) apple sauce packets 5) Korean-style pork jerky 6) the cured meats + cheese packets or the prosciutto wrapped cheese slices 5) Pocky or the Chocolate filled Panda stamped cookies 7) popcorn 8) heavenly hunks (we bought it once and loved it but haven’t been able to find it at Costco again) 9) mini naan bread + hummus
As each person has their own preferences, the title would be better suited to say “19 of my (the author’s) favorite Costco snacks, because it isn’t all-inclusive of what is “best”.

Nobody wants to hear about what you poop out, so quit leaving comments. You’re probably the same people that buy 900,000 rolls of toilet paper at a time.

We are huge fans of the organic dark chocolate Heavenly Hunks! With oats, dark chocolate and other delicious things in a handy little square, we now need to start buying more than one bag at a time.

Around Xmas you can usually find Kirkland praline pecans in the big plastic jugs (2.5 lbs!), in the snack section. Divine!

How about doing a column listing all the healthy snacks, snacks of no more than 200 calories, meatless snacks, no sugar, no white flour, and how about good snacks for diabetics?
That would be more useful for me.
Thanks

They have a coconut crisp cookie to die for. Comes in a large blue bag which is what I think appealed to me at first as a coconut cookie doesn't do much for me. This cookie packs a crunch and incredible taste. Elaine September 6, 2020

I have not heard of any of those snacks, but what Carla mentioned, I have, bought those numerous times. I'm in Australia and our Costco, doesn't stock many snacks except frozen ones. I really wish they stocked the different doughs in a roll think might be called crescent rolls back in the 60's early 70's and for some reason they disappeared out of our supermarket fridges..

The Korean style pork jerky they have is the BOMB!!!! I can't remember the name of it though; but it's really, REALLY good! And yeah, someone else mentioned the peanut butter filled pretzels; those are awesome too but high in fat content.

Definitely Off the Eaten Path rice crisps are my favorite & the salted, shelled & roasted pistachios also salted & roasted cashews & mixed nuts; all come in large quantities that you can portion out on your own.

Love hearing about all the interesting snacks I have passed by in the aisles of Costco, but I deplore the fact they they come individually wrapped. What a waste and all of that wrapping goes into landfill. My kids are grown and gone and I didn't have to spend the summer in ISO with them so I can appreciate the convenience described here. I would also love to see an article that addresses creative ways to draw kids into measuring and weighing and counting out portions from larger containers. These can be mini-math lessons or discussions about fairness. But thanks for the descriptions of those snacks, some of which I have never heard of. Pockys??

Sourdough Style Pretzels (San Francisco Sourdough Company). Absolutely the best!

Some of these sound really healthy and delicious. But I have zero idea what a “Taki” or a “Pocky” are - links or pictures for each recommended item would be super helpful. And how did Kirkland’s peanut butter pretzel nuggets not make this list? :)

Carla, you're correct! I was just thinking that the pretzel nuggets should have been on my list! I just went yesterday and spent over $500 and I definitely picked up a canister of them. And obviously, a few other things. And yes, pictures would be nice!

I honestly thought I had mistakenly clicked on one of those sponsored ads at the end of a newsfeed!

We like the Off The Eaten Path veggie chips. They're good as a snack or with a sandwich. I put out a bowl for our Friday night wine hour with neighbors. They scoffed them up and asked where to get them.
