As we head into 2022, another year of the pandemic, you might just be looking for a way to brighten the spirits of your friends and family members during an uncertain time. For so many people, the process of cooking - especially a slow and involved recipe - can be cathartic. Cooking is also a way that many people express feelings and care for their loved ones. Our community provided us with an abundance of recipes you can peruse for inspiration the next time you want to bring someone a dish made with love.

Our two finalists in our latest contest - Your Best Dish Made With Love - brought us lovely headnote stories that will give you some special insight into the backdrop of these winning recipes. Both dishes feature pork shoulder but they bring a decidedly different approach. Do you want to deliver a flavorful, tender ragu or the perfect Cuban sandwich to your loved one this year? We need your help to decide which recipe is the best dish made with love.

1. The Cuban by AntoniaJames

Why is the picture at the top of the article have no reference to the article? I thought those look interesting let’s explore. To find out we’re going cuban and ragu? I’ll make the Cuban and Ragu but it’s a bit misleading.

That Ragu was one of the best things I’ve ever made! Need to try the Cuban, but the Ragu is a MUST!
