We’ve teamed up with NOLET’S Gin to share a few of the warmest and brightest holiday cocktails. These sips come together with NOLET’S Silver Gin, a floral spirit that’s been crafted with over 330 years of distilling expertise by the Nolet family using real botanicals.

When it comes to cocktails, holidays call for remixes. If you’re a gin fan like me, that means slightly adjusting your steady rotation of go-to cocktails to align with the flavors and festivities of the holiday season. By subtly incorporating flavors like cranberry, pomegranate, apple, and cardamom into classic drinks like the Negroni and gin sour, timeless cocktails can embrace the holiday spirit without completely abandoning their most essential qualities.

With that in mind, here are six of our favorite gin-based cocktails to make this holiday season.

1. Holiday Gin Bramble

Blackberry, cranberry, and lemon shine alongside NOLET’S Silver Gin in this luxurious holiday cocktail. Fruit-forward and rich in color, this festive cocktail is a sweet start to the holiday season and the perfect beverage to sip on while wrapping presents.

2. Gin Mule

Bring a holiday touch to the classic Moscow Mule with the addition of NOLET’S Silver Gin and pomegranate juice. The pomegranate adds a tart burst of flavor that provides a lovely contrast to the sweetness of ginger beer and mint. Garnish with a green sprig of mint and red pomegranate seeds for a bright and refreshing beverage.

3. Maple Gimlet

“I love using maple syrup in a cocktail because it does double duty as both a sweetener and a flavoring agent,” writes recipe developer Irene Yoo. “This wintry riff on a classic gimlet is rounded out by the maple syrup and botanical NOLET’S Silver Gin (think: peach, rose, and raspberry), with just the right whiff of spice from the star anise garnish.”

4. Spiced Gin Sour

This sour combines classic technique (looking at you, shaken egg whites) with cardamom’s spicy notes to create a cocktail that’s both complex and warming. Always gorgeous (but especially eye-catching served in a coupe), this drink shines on a frosty night.

5. Mulled Wine Negroni

When mulled with nutmeg, star anise, cinnamon, and clove, sweet vermouth—which is technically a type of fortified wine—gently nudges the Negroni’s classic flavor into the perfect drink for fireside sipping.

6. Apple Negroni

“Bring the bright, juicy flavors of apple and baking spices to your Negronis with the addition of apple brandy and a touch of Cynar, an amaro with earthy, herbaceous qualities,” writes recipe developer and Food52 cocktail resident Harper Fendler. “Those fruity apple notes highlight the peach and raspberry in our favorite gin for this cocktail riff, NOLET’S Silver Gin, which also has subtle elements of rose that shine next to the bittersweet profile of the drink.”
