I would be happy to do the second-the jubilee pudding and have just enough time.

I have some cherries left over from our Washington DC Food52 canning event he held over the weekend -- as well as some jars. So I'd be happy to put them to use in this recipe, but it's like a 30 hour process from the get go, so I'll need to push the deadline into Wednesday AM. I'll likely get started on this -- have to pit the cherries anyway -- and you can let me know if you'll excpet the late review.

Whoops, I just read the recipe in it's entirity and these need to sit in the basement once processed for 6 weeks. I'm willing to make them and reserve judgement until then. Does that work?

Thanks for the EP recognition, I love yeast baking and sharing recipes with everyone! NOTE: I won’t be able to cook for a little while because of a fractured right shoulder…so have fun everybody. Luckily I already had my recipe(s) for next week, just need to type it up – FYI, I just typed this with one finger on my left hand…yikes!

So sorry to hear about your shoulder. You should assume a commanding position on a high stool and direct your troops around the kitchen. I hope you feel better.

I"m sure my dinner guests on Saturday will enjoy it too. I bought my milk for that batch at a local farm so I am curious if the $7 per 1/2/gallon I paid for that is going to make a difference or not.

um, take two -- sorry for the iphone typing before. Hope you like the torte! My mom made it yesterday and hers only took 35 minutes, not the hour that mine did -- so just an FYI to watch it. Enjoy!
