Your Photos: Home Alone

March 13, 2014

We're a little disappointed in you. When we asked you to document what you eat when you're home alone, we expected to see photos of empty pints of ice cream and reheated slices of pizza. Instead, you gave us beauty and elegance: poached eggs, smashed avocado flecked with sea salt, and, of course, kale salads

Well, kudos to you for eating well even when no one's watching. You've inspired us to put away the ice cream -- in a few minutes.

I used to work at Food52. I'm probably the person who picked all of the cookie dough out of the cookie dough ice cream.

Hey, some of us cook for ourselves virtually every night, and enjoy it! I'd be in pretty bad shape if i lived on ice ccream, cereal and frozen pizza....although i did eat an entire box of gingersnaps one nightvlast week when i got home from work...
