How long can egg whites be stored in the fridge?

Hi! I am planning to make Amanda's almond cake and the recipe calls for four egg yolks. Was wondering how long can I store the remaining egg whites in the fridge? I don't wish to freeze them as I already have several egg whites stashed in the freezer.
