Garbanzo Bean Soup

I have surfed the web for a Garbanzo Bean Soup recipe but nearly all have rice, pasta, or potato. We are watching carbs and these are no-no's. Any help?

In any recipe it is easy to leave out the potatoes and pasta. I just double up on vegetables. Here is a recipe I like, and leave out the potatoes http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/simple-farro-bean-stew-recipe.html
