Don't have many resources here so I was thinking garlic onion and old bay boiled for 20 mins. Remove from heat and add shrimp until they turn pink.

I always have perfect results with this method.. I I heat water to a simmer and add a few peppercorns and maybe a slice or squeeze of fresh lemon. I add peeled deveined shrimp to the simmering water and watch like a hawk. Very important to not boil the shrimp as they will toughen. At the three-minute point remove one and test to see if it is done. Be careful not to overcook. Drain. If using for shrimp cocktail, chill thoroughly.Cocktail sauce: mix chili sauce and prepared horseradish to degree of heat desired. Add a good squirt of lemon and chill.
