Jar of preserved lemons just tipped in the fridge. What's a good sub for the liquid that was in there before it drained out?

then they're all cured. I might just add lemon juice and a couple of pinches of salt. Maybe taste the remaining liquid and see how salty it is?

Homemade? If so, how old? If they're already pretty well cured, I'd just add juice of some lemons to cover. If not, I'd add lemon juice with some more salt.
