A question about a recipe: Peach Raspberry Tart

I have a question about the ingredient "peaches, peeled and sliced (see note)" on the recipe "Peach Raspberry Tart" from Jennifer Perillo. Peaches aren't in season...can I sub frozen? And if so do I have to worry about the filling becoming too liquidy?

If you use frozen peaches, make sure to defrost them and drain over a colander to remove the extra liquid before usng. You might also want to think about substituting another fruit that you can get your hands on more easily and adjust the cooking time to accommodate a fruit that takes longer to bake.
