Is there any way to get the pickle smell out of my mason jars? I would like to repurpose some of them but they all smell of dill pickles.
I hear you ! Even when I put through the dishwasher, the smell still lingered! However, I have found great success with good old fashioned baking soda. Don't spare it. Only add about 1 tsp of water, enough to make a paste and leave it there for a while with the lid on. Hope this helps.
Thanks, I'll try it!

Try soaking in hot soapy water for about hour or so. Repeat if necessary. That seems to help remove a lot of jar odors for me.
