Keeping pickles firm

I made a batch of dill pickles that turned out mushy. How do I keep my pickles firm without compromising the deep flavor you get from brining them for a long time?

Hello there.....there are several things that could have gone wrong when you were making your pickles. Here is a Colorado State University Extension publication that might help to answer your question. Don't give up on making pickles.
