I have a question about the ingredient "1 large meyer lemon cut into 8 pieces" on the recipe "Lazy Mary's Lemon Tart " from dymnyno.

No, it doesn't have to be. Meyer lemons have thin skin with very little pith. Using the whole lemon adds complexity to the flavor of the tart. This is a great recipe, one that I make whenever I can get Meyer lemons. Hope you enjoy.

Well played. You deserve a cookie.
It's also got lemon poppyseed *and* lemon curd—because why not?
