California wine with California crab

The local San Francisco Dungeness crab season has arrived, a really big deal for us! Usually, I go with a French wine from the Loire or Champagne, but I have an out-of-state guest. What's your favorite California wine to drink with crab? Or do you stick to beer?

Sparkling wine cuts through butter and garlic really well. For a special occasions, Domaine Chandon étoile Brut and étoile Rosé are two of my favorites.

I've always liked the Pacific Rim Dry Riesling (Bonny Doon Vineyard) with seafood.
