Is it the sweet chili sauce that you are referring to? Also, the amount of peanuts and sugar was left off the recipe.

I think you're right, I would assume the recipe refers to sweet chili sauce. There's a recipe on the site to make your own: http://food52.com/recipes/6439-thai-sweet-chili-sauce
