I prob wouldn't omit salt from the recipe bc it's so essential to bringing out flavors, and I don't think the salt from the nuts will disperse in the ingredients to do thee trick. Can you share what you're making?
They are just in the pie topping with includes salt? I suppose it would be okay. Salted nuts are usually pretty salty though. I suppose you could rise them and dry in a low oven? Hope this wasn't too late.
