I have a question about the recipe "Creamy Butternut Squash Soup with Sherry" from Merrill Stubbs. Do you have any idea of how much pre-cut squash is the equivalent of the squash in the recipe? Thanks.

If you buy just under 3 pounds of cut-up squash, you should be good to go!
Someone in the comments of this recipe used pre-cut squash and was unhappy with the results. It might be worth thinking about.
A trick borrowed from applesauce cake (only crazier).
