I always think fresh is better than frozen however I have cooked a frozen turkey before and it tastes just fine. If you do a frozen turkey just be sure to give yourself enough time to properly thaw it out in the fridge (typically 4-5 hours per pound). Also allow yourself enough time for bringing it you plan on doing that as well. Hope this helps! Happy Thanksgiving.
